I am in the process of installing an Electromotive crank fire on my 2.0L six.
I notice people install the coil unit in the center of the shroud. Does anyone
have any pictures of how this unit is supported.I plan on painting the shroud soon
but would like to install any brackets that are needed first.

Rich Clewett makes a little platform that mounts over the oil vent, its basically 4 aluminum spacers about 3"long that take the place of the nut that hold the cover on, then a rectangular alum plate mounts to the 4 studs..pretty easy to make yourself

I have it on my 6, ill try and take some pics
