Damn Gint....

You know, I've been debating between Diamant Silber and Blutorange.... I think you talked me into the orange... breath taking....

Look out Rich Johnson, I see a new perennial best in show car coming on. WOW!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

Thanks Eddie!

I'll be proud if I can come close to Rich's work by the time it's all said and done. Besides, this car is looking at a road trip to WCC06 as soon as it's finished pretty much. It will not be (just) a garage queen.

How's that for timing. I'm ready to go on vacation again.

Too many other things to do and it was too stinky hot all through July. I've just started kinda pokin around on it again. Borke off one of the trans mounting studs in the new motor.

I'll post some pics this weekend when I roll the tub out of the garage again so I have room to work.

Mike,

Of all the catchup, this thread has been the best. The car looks sweet and you have a right to feel pleased with the progress! (hard to believe I'm oggling pics from the spring!)

Like the others, I too am looking forward to seeing this one on the road!

OK, it's been 2.5 years since I brought it home. Maybe it's time to get this thing on the road. I've got almost all of the parts I need.

The paint shrunk a little and had to be sanded and buffed out again. It looks absolutely amazing!

Draggin her back home (again):

Washed it up after all of the rain and snow in the Laramie Mountains on the way home.

Pictures just don't do this thing justice.

Cool Mike

It's got to do your heart good to have Ferg oogling your paint. That must be one fine looking job.

Looking back through this thread, there sure are a lot of people who've come and gone. It's kind of sad but, a fine looking red car makes up for it. Get her done

I had similar thoughts. I considered starting a new thread. But history is what it is...
