Idles around 1700 when hot.... replace it all already, except the Aux air valve... that is blocked off, but I am suspicious of it leaking, possibly adding more air into the intake when hot.... Not sure. Help Rich |

1. Vacuum leaks from whatever. Test spray around the hoses, injectors, plenum, throttle body with alittle bit of starting fluid to see if the rpms go up. Note: I said alittle. Too much spray will mix with all the air in the engine compartment and into the intake, result: the idle will rise. Also beware of the fire danger.
2. The timing is way off 3. The vacuum retard hose isn't connected properly Geoff |
