Hi all,

Brad is going racing this weekend, but WCC is next weekend, so I need to put the finishing touches on my car. It runs and drives fine, but there is almost no interior, back glass still needs to go on, rubber seals installed, bumpers/rocker panels put back on, headlights re-attached, etc. Plus some electrical stuff needs to be sorted out (gas light's always on, even if I have a full tank. Blinkers don't work. Horn doesn't work.) It also needs different rear shocks and an allignment, but I think that'll have to wait for Brad next week.

I've asked a couple people, and the consensus is early mornings work best. So... is anyone up for helping me out Sunday morning?? Will supply food and caffeine. And a big smile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

TIA,

Jen

Awesome! Thanks guys. I'm getting the keys from Brad tonight. I'm not much of an early riser, but what's good for you? 8:00? 9:00? EARLIER?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

8:00 AM works for me....the less time away from home the better, the wife is not the happiest camper knowing I'm helping someone else with thier car instead of working on my own stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Would love to help, but it is a bit of a drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

For seals, a bottle of liquid soap (Dawn, it's easy on the hands (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) and a lot of swearing putting the windshield and door window seals in.

For the rear window, get the buytl tape. I used RTV and it wasn't the best choice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

1 can of 3M Spray adhesive for all the vinyl and carpets.

Box of bandaids and bottle of hydrogen peroxide.

Hey, I tried to give you the shocks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) to use till you could find Bilsteins.

If MikeZ offers to help, make sure you have a set of handcuffs.

Not to worry, I am sure he always travels with an extra set.

I can help if needed and if I stop breaking parts on my own car. I was going to try to recruit people to help ME put MY engine back in this Sunday... Maybe it can wait until Monday.

Yep, brad's shop is in the parking lot next to HPH. I'll pick up some donuts and brew some coffee. Should be there at 8:00.

Mike (Carmody),

PLEASE PLEASE.. move the cars around inside the shop. Jenny will using parts from the yellow tub in the back and I dont want people walking inbetween all the cars. Slide it over and move it out. That way you can push your green car to the back with the blue one. Take the race car off the stands and roll it out also. I gave my keys to Jenny this evening (dummy me) cant move anything tomorrow unless you come down. I want the parts car and Jenny's car to be "front to back" just inside the door. That way she can move parts/screws easily. When she is done..shove her's back outside. I'll be back late Sunday evening from Thunderhill.
