Rebel Racing. I purchased everything from Jonathan at GPR. He's a good source for this stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I bought almost the same stuff with the exception of the rears. Let me know what you think of the Rebel front bushings. I just test fit mine and they are slightly larger than the A arm. Granted I bead blasted my arms and there isn't any paint on them. If I'm lucky the paint will snug them up a bit. Did GPR give you the bolts and special washers to go along with them?

On a side note Rebel is going to come out with a rear kit shortly. I'm waiting to see what they come up with before I go with the Elephant stuff.

Yeah, Jonathan gave me everything (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would like to wait until Rebel comes out with the rear as he does very nice work and is a great guy, from what I am told. I just went with Elephant because Chuck does make nice stuff. I know a metalic bushing isn't ideal but it is good for now.

Rears are actually something custom from a local member... once he drops them off (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I haven't updated this in a while. Here is a picture I took today while I rolled it out of the garage. I'm waiting on a few things before I can take it out on the road but it is very close (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE(PeeGreen 914 @ May 9 2011, 08:41 PM) *

For those that don't know why my name is Pee Green i is simply because my new 914 is green and came with a mouse problem. They pissed all over the interior and rust from the urine has cause a little work. Well, Getting close to getting all the damage out.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) This reminds me of a 72 Saab Sonett III I bought in Santa Fe a few years ago. It had been sitting on a farm and looked solid from underneath. What lurked under the carpet, in the dash, bellow the gas tank and about every place out of view gave me nightmares (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Pounds of mouse crap and dead mice every where (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) The piss rusted the floors of coarse (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I stepped away, let the car sit a while before I decided to tackle it. I thought I got it all out, but failed to open the blower fan box. I got a nice dusting on my first real drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Needless to say, the thought of the Hantavirus gave me plenty of anxiety the following weeks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I pulled two mice skeletons from out of the cross member of the rear. I have been told there where four or five others in the car as well. I guess it is really amazing that thecar has no rust issues in the main areas. This car could have been a gem for someone who cared to restore it. I like to autocross so it was screwed the second it went into my garage (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hey Jon, what seat are you running? Contemplating options for my project. I was going to use a stock seat with modified bolsters but now I'm rethinking that direction.

Hey Mark, running the Sparco Evo2.

So, It has been a while since I have been on here. The last four months have been a little busy as I have been remodeling my back garage into a master bedroom so we can get the kids into their own rooms. What use to be a garage now looks like this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The 914 is finally back in the remaining garage and I will get to start back working on it when I return from my trip to San Francisco next week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Hey Jeff, any chance you will be able to help me soon?

Yes, it should be, but I had to get my kids into separate rooms. Five year plan is to either build a shop in the back or rent out this house and buy one with the shop I need. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Answers a six month old question while he wanders in and acts like we're all supposed to know who he is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Jon, you know it's part of the job to post pics of projects in progress so that we can *ahem* offer constructive advice, right?

Garage looks cozy by the way. Spilled oil will clean right off that floor I suppose?

I should be home all next Friday and the weekend, including Monday, but during the week I'll be in San Fran.

If not next weekend soon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Thanks Jeff

There's a reason I didn't post pics (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

That and my brother, who is a lieutenant colonel in the US Army special forces was the one directing everything and floating the bill. I was simply following what he said to do. That whole he can kill me with his little finger thing and all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . He's the oldest and I am the youngest in the family. He has been stationed out here for 6 months while he does some schooling. So this was his project really.

Yes I will but not in my car. Not sure what I am going to drive this year actually. Maybe I'll find out Saturday.

My car should be ready in a few months.
