Is 1.7 1679cc 914 elgible for FSP? I was thinking a cheap fun car would be a FSP 914 if it is in fact in that class. I was looking at June Fast Track and see they say cars not classified between 1.7 and 3.0. So assume cars up to 1.7 go to FSP? Isnt a 914 technically below 1.7 with 1679cc motor? So would it default to FSP?
I was thinking the car with headers and street prepared setup might just be a sleeper FSP car if its legal. It be a fun car too as you could keep it street legal. And with 1.7s being cheaper I just wonder? Clearly if would be a HP underdog but I dont know of many cars in that class right now that have potential of dipping down around 1800 to 1900 lbs. I was thinking of buying 1.7 start in FSP then go to GP in later stages. |
