I wanna go!

Dang it, it's ONLY 225.2 miles to Margie's for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif)

Overnite HELP!

Is there anyone in the SLO area that could call some 'relatively' inexpensive motels for me, for a Saturday July 31st stayover?
I went online and tried Motel 6, Holiday Inn & Best Western... No Vacancy.

I'd take a place in Pismo (gee U think?) as I'd like to spend part of saturDay there.

I know this is last minute, but after looking earlier in the week, I planned on Not attending, but if I could just find somewhere 'relatively' inexpensive to stay......

Thanks in advance.

Ooh, saturday night accomodations in the summer are TOUGH around here. AND, this is the first weekend of the mid-state fair. You may end up having to go all the way to Santa Maria. And forget campgrounds, they book up before the hotels. I'll make some calls, but don't count on me finding anything. What's your price limit? (motel 6 around here is cheap enough, holiday inn around here is actually kinda pricy)

Oh, and it is the Margies on Calle Juaquin.. right next to a motel 6... that's booked up.

Motel 6 is booked up everywhere... travelocity shows some availability in the area though.. looks like you can find something for around $130-$150 (ouch). Click to select a hotel and it will tell you if it's available and at what price. Pismo beach, shell beach, avila beach, grover beach, arroyo grande, los osos and morro bay are all within a reasonable distance to SLO. Because of the mid-state fair you probably want to stay away from north county. Good Luck!

Oh, and my 73 1.7 is still for sale. I'll have it at the brunch, so if anyone is interested, come check it out! I've lowered the price to $1000.
(end shameless plug)
