I just got a 915 transmission from a '85 911 and it has a differential mounted oil pump on it. Can the r&p still be flipped either with the cooler or without the cooler.

All kidding aside I think the oil pump wasnt driven from the diff... maybe piggy backed on the speedo?

Actually I opened up the diff cover and found a gear on the diff. and that runs a smaller gear on the inside of the cover.

I can't seem to post any pics right now, no matter what if I resize the pic.
