the pistons seem to be measuring 95.4x mm

If they ARE 95mm (or 95.xx) i would be interested...

Is the missing fin going to create heat issues?? The replies to Garage thread are incouraging.


EDIT.....
Now to find out what you really have....The numbers on the box give indication of below..
VW9400T4 021-198-200 94x71mm 2000cc Dish Top

They obviously are not dish tops and you a diffently measuring 95 in the pic...Hummm

I kinda would need to know exact since they are larger than 95 it seems.
95.20mm would be the max. that would be legal...

For reference Pistons are measured @ the gauge point, about .500" from the bottom of the skirt.
