This is the left side of the dash in my son's 70. It doesn't match the 72 or the 74. What is suppost to go in the hole? I can't find a pic of this part of the car anywhere.

Thanks,
the defrost switch is on the right side of the column (or I think thats what it is), but this car has no rear defrost glass in the back (which could have been changed at sometime). The 72's & the 74 have the wiper lever on the column (right side). There is no vents in the dash on either side. I drove this car 1600 miles home last fall and never used the wipers. I replaced the wiper blades before leaving BC. Good thing it didn't rain I guess. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Next question: What dose the dash type wiper switch look like? And any idea where to find one? I could do a simple on/off switch or swap the steering column from one of the 72's, but that's a bunch of work. Are the wipers in the 70's cars a two speed motor? Then a 3 way switch. |
