I checked the vin # out and this was actually Otzi the Iceman's 914. It broke down on him one day while he was driving through the Alps in a bad snow storm. 5,300 years later, this is what you end up with. The car is not quite as well preserved as the Iceman. I saw that door and thought NOS too. I bet it still has a part number sticker on it.
Even the rattiest cars often have some treasure hidden in the pile of junk. |
