Nacho, we are in the same boat. Keep your head down and moving forward. I know that I bit off more than I can chew, at least for now

Took my favorite, 50 mile, Lake Mead / Boulder City, attitude adjustment, escape loop, for the >100th time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
The six dollars worth of gas I burned is, without a doubt, the best investment I will make all week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

75 Palma 2.0 is almost done, need to get the engine back in and the car corner balanced.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Took four different sources (vendors and member) to find all of the grommets for the tin. The front tin is a great example.

Ordered new springs, shocks, MOMO wheel and SCART exhaust. Thinking about a turbo tie rod kit while I'm at it.

QUOTE(ClayPerrine @ Nov 26 2020, 07:42 PM) *

I drove the 4.0L around playing uber eats for my family. A trip to each of my sister's houses to pick up and drop off food, and then a trip to my dad's house to drop off Thanksgiving dinner for him.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I also found out that the 4.0L will pull away from a 2012 911 Carrera 4S in a straight line. On my way out to my first stop, I turned a corner onto a 6 lane road, and the 911 turned from two cars behind me. I went to the left lane, and he decided to show the NARP what a REAL Porsche could do. He hammered on it, and when I saw him, so did I. He was astonished when I started to briskly pull away from him.

We both caught the next traffic light 1/2 mile down the road when it went yellow. I was in the left lane, and he was in the left turn lane. He rolled down the window and shouted "What the hell is in that thing?!?!"

I explained it was a 430HP hotrod 964 4.0L motor, and the car only weighed 2500 Lbs. He said he was impressed by the performance.

Score one for Team NARP! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Had to take advantage of a beautiful fall day to put a few more miles on it (just in case 242,332 one-owner miles aren't enough).

Finished pulling my donor engine today. I took a few day for the PB Blaster to do it's job on the aluminum electrolysis that held it to the transmission but it finally came out. I've ended up with almost a whole SVX to sell off, body wise so I'm constantly listing parts for sale and now I'll put it outside, pull my 914 in, and start on other fabrication projects. Good day!

Loaded my Cayenne’s front flat tire in the passenger seat and drove it to the local garage. It was the smallest car in the lot by far.

Beautiful Picture! I like those Pedrinis on your car. I have a set of them but never put on my ´71. I think I should get them repainted... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
