No pictures, but had the Hoosier Speedsters mounted on the 4 lug Fuchs for track day this coming Saturday and Sunday. I'm instructing, so I hope I have some fun cars to drive.

Installed LED turn signal and brake lights from Spokeworks. I didn't think I wanted them until I saw Sir Andy's car at WCR. My old lights worked good but aren't in the same league as these LEDs. These are not just a single replacement LED bulb but a board with literally dozes of LEDs. Installation could be as simple as replacing bulbs however early cars require a new flasher which Jerry also sells. I decided to complicate the installation by thinking the Hi/Low beam relay was the flasher relay and ended up with not only LEDs that did not work properly but all sorts of interesting electrical malfunctions. Jerry was extremely helpful and after talking me off the cliff he offered suggestions on what I may have done wrong and assured me that "we" will get my situation resolved. Thanks Jerry for a great product and being a great 914 vendor.

Due to some unexpected family circumstances, haven't done much with the 'BB' for a while. Just got around to installing an AN-3 elbow fitting in the hydraulic slave cylinder and reconnecting the hose from the M/C this afternoon. I wanted to move the hose further away from the heat exchanger, and the little elbow did the trick. Will get around to bleeding the system (and the brake system) hopefully next week.

I removed the calipers from the '66 912 and boxed them up for shipping to PMB, and yesterday, received a set of new Sebro rotors from AZ Autohaus. Going to upgrade the single circuit to dual circuit while waiting for the calipers to come back. Probably will replace the old control arm bushings, tie rod ends and ball joints at the same time too. Hope I have enough time to freshen up the paint on the suspension components and brake shields, etc. 'while I'm in there' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) ... they look like they could stand some TLC, eh?

Also, got a text from Mary Shortridge a little while ago ... she told me that she picked up the set of 4-lug ATS Classic wheels (from a seller in Nebraska - not a World member) in Springfield NE for me today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) ...

Mary doesn't even have the check I sent her yet ... the USPS site shows it's at a post office in Omaha as of this afternoon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

A BIG 'THANK YOU' to you, Mary ... I owe you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

I temporarily fitted the engine & gearbox after modifying the engine mounts as I had been sold the wrong ones.

The car was last registered in 1995 according to the plates that were on it.

Carbs should be here this week so it will be test the engine time! And then onto what else crops up or just the next job on the diminishing list.

Secured the front valance.

Traded the front bumper for one with fog light mounts and installed the lights in the bumper (not wired yet).

Cleaned and installed the felt carpet on the front bulkhead.

Installing a Jonesy 'tunacan" sump. Hopefully that will cure the low oil pressure indications when turning or stopping hard.

While I wait for a replacement oil feed return line to be fabricated and sent back, I added a not-stock but period correct hood crest to the Clown Car. After it was pointed out that it was blatantly crooked, I tried again...

Karl, make sure the hollow bolt fits through hole in the bottom of the strainer screen before final assembly. You may need to enlarge the hole.
