You are bidding on one orginalen 914 / 6 No reconstruction of the body 4 or bartered. One of the real 500 hundred survivors in the original paint, never rumgepfuddelt something on the car. All original. The vehicle is not registered since 2000. Originals 914 / 6 chassis number 9140430955 (original number embarked, orginale aluminum plate and the originals security sticker (this can not be removed because of holes, a good indication whether you have a GENUINE have 914 / 6 or a replacement coach, Photo # 12). Original color 23 Blood Orange (plaque present). orginals 914 / 6 engine Year 1970 Engine Number 6404415 orginale 914 / 6 gear. For any number specialists. Lemmerz original rims. Date Cancelled 6 / 69. Just like engine parts 6 / 69. sticker in the engine compartment as in orginalen 6!.

Body: The car is in original paint, hoods / doors in good condition but is supplied from a donor car more doors / hood /. Good substance for restoration. Both Luggage cabs in good condition, inner sill, Stehwaende are very good. Bad: battery district, Hell Hole, Right Side, Bodenhaelften should be renewed. Otherwise over completely, as a second vehicle is delivered in parts. Complete in original UNDERBODY ORANGE TINT! The car has not been treated improperly. Technique, I would be happy to show videos from current vehicle! No, the motor is removed but it makes a good impression. Of course there should be overhauled at a complete restoration of the engine. Heat Exchanger / Original 914 / 6 gear, hand brake all available for complete restoration.

Inside: Everything but there should be overhauled, seats have to be reupholstered, original leather steering wheel!.

Overall, a complete 914 / 6 to full restoration.

Looks like the CA car would take a boat load of money to restore. Absolutely everything would have to be done.

The folks that know can pipe up, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) but at arms length I'd guess it'd take $70K or more to get this one right.

I love these cars - but for 99.99% of the folks...one needs to look the other way and bring boat loads of $ to restore this.. in real life - especially these days, 99.999 % of us look on the ROI for our time and investment...unless one hit the lotto and just need to spend some of it.

I don't agree, and am in the process of restoring one so I do know what it cost to do it right (And it aint cheap) when there is a very limited number of X, and the number of X keeps getting lower since they can't build anymore the value goes up.

Its a great deal If your in Europe . I have a 914-6 that is complete min. rust , does not run and I have a standing offer to buy for 12k anytime day or night. Of course it will be loaded on a boat. It would be a steal compared to the Ebay car. The auction is not over yet.
