Another update n the restoration.
After i stripped the whole floorpan i treated it with metall-ready and painted it with por 15.
Didn´t find any new hole, all solid and nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Not sure about the further painting. Maybe i will use some modern underbody stuff? or use wax? any suggestions?

while i did the 5 lug conversion i cleaned the left wheelhouse and did some rust treatment

i have the carbs to bee rebuild by an professional, think they are back mid february (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)
oillines are the last missing parts, so far as i can see.
Engine tin is on the way, i hope it arrives the next few days.
Motor mount is also on the way.
Still have to buy a ignition system, maybe the original cd or an msd?

Will post pic´s of the other parts when they arrive.

Hi John,
sorry but i forgot to tell you that i was able to purchase a factory set of engine sheet metal. So i don´t need your nice reproduction.

I own the headlight blinds, but have them on the shelf since i have to do some restauration (painting ) in that area. I was a little lazy on that project (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Hi James,
i did some research and theoretical design to convert mine. But in the end Rich Johnson offered me a ready converted Cooler.

Hope it will arrive soon.
Will post pic´s of al the parts later.
