Glass is better quality, but you know what they say about chinese drivers... So, unfortunately, you're going to start driving like crap. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Cool, this looks like it's gonna be a great turnout. I can't wait. If anyone wants to buy my salvaged titled 73 1.7 for $750, tell me so I can bring it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Jen

An unsubstantiated claim in light of what else they make (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ..............,No argument about the driving though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

And don't get the idea that it is not a good piece. I looked at it and will buy two of them. Glenn and I want to see how they fit. The 944 glass they provided fit well and he bought a 911 glass to try also.

The general consensus is that Sigla glass is the best and it is the OEM stuff. Next best is the PPG. We bought a 911, 914 and a 944 windshield all of the same brand, made in China. The 911 and the 944 glass fit pretty well. I'm trying to get the guy to come out to my place and install one in a 914. If the molding fits ok, I'll be satisfied. That's where I've heard the problem is. If the glass doesn't fit well, the molding won't either. I'll keep ya posted.

There are two candidates for a ""SAWZALL" fest. Problem is moving them to the current site. If we are able to change the location by a couple of blocks, it won't be a problem.

The new site has an electric gate so we could keep MikeZ and Legalowner out (while we display Vin #914115, which is the second of the candidates). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Isn't that a spleeening contest?

Just to entice all of you to attend, I am posting a sneak preview image of 914115

(IMG:http://www.rccauto.com/ebay/red914.jpg)

Notice the stolen turn signal indicators. Besides being in Deutschland, the guy that nabbed them was Sur Something.

If it's really only a couple blocks, I'm sure we will have a big enough turnout that we could carry it over (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Wouldn't that make a great photo? We could at least pick it up, toss some furniture dollies underneath and push it. Do you need a 1 day moving permit from the DMV to do that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks Joe,

Will consider doing just that. Actually would like to move the location for more room,, but the owner (my brother) keeps bringing up business license, health dept (for cooking sausage), etc. We'll see.

And

Did you forget your intercourse (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) lately? If so I have it.

I don't think you have to worry about that. It's a 'club' event, not a public event. Ask Glenn about the requirements.
