I am at the point in my project where I need to determine which 914 bodywork to go with to fit my larger tires. I did some searching thru old threads trying to determine a good measurements, but was unable to answer all my questions. Therefore, we need to collaborate and build a database on what is available out there and associated measurements.

Yes, please do. I really need the front measurements as I think my new set-up might fit under the HPH front flares.

I didn't know you were considering the GT look ...

I have a set of extra wide GT flares (at McMark's shop) that i could measure.

I'll be using those for my Fikse wheels.
Front: 9x17 with 245-45
Rear: 11x17 with 315-35

Not sure if that would be enough for you ...

I hadn't really considered the GT look before, but I need something to cover my new wheel set-up. Surprisingly the wheel don't stick out as far on the new suspension as they did on the old set-up. However, I have no real reference to how wide I need since most people reference the wheel size that will fit.

Here are the front and rear views of the wheels on my car.

My HPH fronts look around 14 3/4 - 15", I'll get the rears later as I cant really get a tape in there at the moment.

Hmmmm...that means that the HPH fronts would work on my chassis. I might end up making my own set of wider HPH looking rears...we shall see.

Worse case, you could offset the fender till you were sure it gave you enough room.

With 255's on the front I cant run as low as I'd like... I went drifting the other day and had to raise the front end about an inch to avoid rubbing.

Do you have a good picture of the HPH fronts mounted on your car?

Does anyone have any experience with the GT-Racing stuff?

Their website indicates that the rear flares can take up to a 12" wide tire. Does anyone run these?
