Hi. .
Okay, speedo and odo work. New cable, routed well. However, there is a quiver in the needle at all speeds. Quiver is narrower (and faster) at higher speeds. Remedy? Thanks |

Thanks It's dirt/friction in your speedo or in the cable, usually at the cockpit end. Take out your speedo and spray some lube in the cable. Then spray penetrating oil (not WD40) into the speedo from the cable input hole. Put everything back and hope for good. If it doesn't work, you'll probably have to take the speedo apart and clean and lube it. P.S. Don't try to use compressed air into the speedo. You might blow dirt/grease on the glass and there is no way to clean it unless you take it off. |

Thanks Yes for the cable. No for the gauge. You want some thin oil to reach and lube the inner parts. The grease is too thick and may block the way for your next try with oil. |
