After taking extra care with my rebuild, a pesky oil leak was frustrating. Thinking it was one of the 13 plugs I installed:

I was about to yank the engine and pull it apart. Just for grins, I pulled the rubber plug over my oil sender, started up the engine and There It Was! 10 minutes to swap it out and Done!

Somebody, somewhere suggested this as a possibility on another post and saved me hours of work! Thanks!! ScottD

Say what you want about George and most will, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) his 7 million tech tips are right on the money and this is one of them. A leak on the passenger front is often the oil sender. If not, then the oil cooler.

Was it the sender itself that was leaking?

Yep, right between the terminal and the plastic... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)
