After taking extra care with my rebuild, a pesky oil leak was frustrating. Thinking it was one of the 13 plugs I installed:

I was about to yank the engine and pull it apart. Just for grins, I pulled the rubber plug over my oil sender, started up the engine and There It Was! 10 minutes to swap it out and Done!

Somebody, somewhere suggested this as a possibility on another post and saved me hours of work! Thanks!! ScottD

Say what you want about George and most will, biggrin.gif his 7 million tech tips are right on the money and this is one of them. A leak on the passenger front is often the oil sender. If not, then the oil cooler.

Was it the sender itself that was leaking?
