Gotta be a scam. There's no way somebody would sell a 996 turbo for that. Have you seen the same ebay add anywhere else?

Maybe they missed a "0" zero in the price?

$8000 mentioned more than once and the car is in Australia. 2900 miles.
This looks to be one of those "perceived value" issues -- $8000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) |

The seller is out of Australia, and it seems like he sold mostly clothes previous to this. I have a feeling it's a hijacked account. I sent the seller an email asking why it's so cheap. Should get an interesting answer.

Oddly he seems to be in Australia, since most of his recent auctions sold in AU$, but the ".es" email country code is for Spain!
sure to be a scam just from the price and the "free delivery"! All and still "I'll TAKE it!" |

A car that has theoretically been inspected in the US (squaretrade and location).
A solid ebay account from Austrailia, probably hijacked. A free email address in Spain. An advertised "Buy It Now" without the option to (could not be there because of pre-approval, but I don't think so). In my ebaying most of the people who want pre-approval are just checking to see if you're gullible enough! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

Is this one of those cases where this guy really wants this car so he claims ownership? Im thinking of brad's -6... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) This would be like "legal owner" trying to sell brad's car.

QUOTE Note: This listing is restricted to pre-approved bidders or buyers only. You guys didnt see that? I've seen cayennes go for 45 bucks, and twin turbo sbc's go for 50 cents.... Its a restricted market.... Andrew |

"Escrow" fraud.
Pay the intermediate company the $8k... all of a sudden, you're $8k short and no such company exists. |
