There is a really simple solution..... People that shop on e-bay know what they are looking for, and know what it is worth.

Before I put the Porsche decals along the side of the car, I couldn't go out for more than 10 minutes before someone asked me "What kinda car is that?"

The majority of the public does not know what these cars are.. nor what they are worth. Place an ad in the Auto Trader.... they have package deals where you can advertise in the local Auto Trader, as well as the Collecter car Auto Trader.

Write a well worded, enthusiastic desription......... "Awesome 1975 PORSCHE 914 roadster-convertible. A road-gripping 2 seater with removeable hardtop!! Turn heads in this bright orange piece of classic german craftsmanship! EXTREMELY RARE! Will not last long!! $5500."

Ok.. laugh all you want, but that shit works. I've sold nearly 10 cars through the Auto Trader, 7 of them were classics. People don't usually trust e-bay... not to spend that much money anyway.

I sold this car for $4900......... in less than 24 hours after it was listed. It was my last teener.... a 72 with dual carbs, "iffy" paint, and a cracked front valence. It may sound like a spoof, but I was getting 3 or 4 calls a day on this car..... thew name "Porsche" sells.... use it.
