This 914 has been mistreated to different respects in it's former life and currently I am fixing a lot of that. I have installed the SS fuel line kit from Tangerine Racing, and have cleaned the tank and replaced all the fuel lines with the latest greatest ethanol happy compound. The fuel pump slips into the bracket on the firewall, does the wire connector face down, or towards the rear? Also are there any seals inside that will be damaged if I disassemble the pump for a rebuild?
