To all the purists, who want to nitpick my car, and point out what isn't stock, and what isn't supposed to be this way or that. To all the people who want to point out that 70/4's didn't come with 150mph speedo's. To the people who critisize me for using a mini cooper color on MY car. To the people who think customizing a car means putting a CD player in it and replacing a rusty muffler... Ya you know who you are.

Mine is still cooler....

One of the few cars that I always loved the 916 bumper on. Car looks awesome IMO. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

To many, the 914 is the bastard Porsche already, so modify to your heart's content. Love your wheels, stance and tire-to fender fit.

The invisible windscreen wiper arms, while a nice futuristic touch, just arent period correct :-p

As far as I'm concerned, 914s are like Harleys - a blank canvas to create what you want (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Except, of course, those really cheezy aftermarket body kits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

Nice ride (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

Very, very nice resto. Always enjoy a restored car (who cares if it is entirely original) running on the street and being enjoyed.

Great job!

90 and cloudless is perfect bored-cop weather...
Having visible stuff obvious is an invitation for them to go looking closer.
I prefer to avoid such invitations. Your call.

I don't like the 916 front even on 916's, and most of them fit like cr&p. Yours fits, so well done.

They, not you, are right. It's illegal in CA to operate a motor vehicle, other than a motorcycle, on public roads without a fully functional windshield wiper system. I have a ticket to prove it.

I had the pleasure of cruising with you to WCR this year and think your car is very cool. Let the old people get older.

You should feel free to do whatever you want to your teener. It is obviously not original so it doesn't matter.

If it was original it would be on jack stands like mine......

Obviously you should be ashamed of yourself, and give me your car in an effort to save face with the community at large.

I will be by tonight around 8:30PM to pick it up. Does that work for you?

Clearly, this is for your own good and I am sure you understand. We can't have just anyone out there modifying their cars the way that they like and driving them around in public.

You got a lot of nerve installing a Porsche crest on the hood of your Fiat. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)
