The car looks incredible. Love to see a 914 in such condition.

I've never seen an ECU on the rear of the engine compartment before, is that something that would have been done by the dealer? Can't even imagine how they did it, there is so little room.

As an owner of a 73 2.0L, I wish you all the best with the sale.

Regards, Turk

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) .... I've seen other dealer AC installations with this ECU relocation, or to mid-firewall, but I think this one may be better cuz they don't puncture the firewall to mount it (& that firewall is subject to engine bay & rear window water/rust issues).

I live on the wrong coast but may be interested in buying it and giving it a good home. Everything I have read sounds good, has anyone actually seen/driven the car?

Mike/Evil is near Pittsburgh PA - wrong end of the US.

Potential buyers will need somebody near the Sacramento area closer to you for a PPI.

And before anyone else asks, I'm in SoCal/OC about 450 miles south of the car, so I'm not a PPI resource either.

Rob/Cone Dodger may know of some Sacto area folks, or maybe Stockton. IIRC the car is between the 2 towns on the SR99 corridor.
