It would have to be in the 1k+ price range with all that engineering that has been put into it. I just wonder about which way the spring tension is placed in? I would hate to see what happened if a failure happened while under the vehicle and it went into the upright position!? Hopefully they already thought if that.

I believe it's operated by electric motors, not sprung ... but good to see you're thinking about our safety (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

The video says its hydraulic and spring torsion powered?

EDIT: Looking at the video again, it does look as though the springs are at rest in the "creeper" position.

I know a roller derby girl who could put that to shame!!!

I get that some guys need assistance and I respect that. But this? Not sure this is right for them.

But an able-bodied man using that? Only the salesman. When he's changing batteries I'll be doing something more productive.

Sounds like a fun 9games challenge for the next wcr.

The subject fooled me. I saw "man hoist" and thought I was going to see a mega hoist that could lift anything.

Wait. A hoist for a man? What kind of man needs a personal hoist?

We should rename this thread. BMW men, get your girly..... ahem I mean GQ hoist
