Hey Jim,
Yes, do it on the car. Actually, it's easier that way because you don't have to secure the arm in a vise, etc. Just make sure you don't pull it off the jackstands. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) You'll probably want new threaded collars for the balljoints, so you can remove the old ones with a chisel and hammer, if you don't have the special tool. |

thanks.
after i posted the question, i realized that i am probably ok with the ball joints and that i probably only need to replace on strut. |
