anyone ever put side drafts on a teener?i have access to a set and was thinking on rigging up an intake.
any thoughts on the subject (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

most people run webers/dellorto's 40mm-48mm IDF down draft carbs.

BTW a friend of mine needs side drafts for his BMW 2002

i was thinking they would come up and face each other on top of the motor so each runner would be no longer then 11inches. can these carbs be converted to idf from dcoe?

Thought about it - hooked to the back of a supercharger or turbo.

The idea's ok, but the turn you have to make to the port could result in fuel dropout (poor mixture). If you look at the IDF, IDA setup, it's almost a straight shot to the intake valve.

No, they cannot be modified to a downdraft.
