i have a '75 teener here...a 1.8...i bought a set of gently used SS heat exchangers from "a guy" here...in the picture...so, i think it may matter what year exhaust bits i get...'ja?

hopefully steve i'm gonna get a chance over the weekend to put it up on stands and take a bunch of reference pictures. i'll zap a couple to you when i have them.

i picked up the SS exchanger over in the classifieds without realizing it was for the wrong year...but it was cheap. really doesn't matter because all of the stuff i'll have to swap out...were worn out or FUBARed anyway. no big deal.

I made the same mistake, bought a set ended up it was the 1.8 not 2.0 but does not matter i got such a great deal i just orderd the 1.8 triad to go with it. And got the heater tube parts from someones stash of spares. They were dirty and oily but after a bath with degrease, dawn, and primer and paint good as new. While you are at it get your new hardware and gaskets, and the rubber gromets that go between the tin and the tube AA and a couple others have them new. I forgot mine first time around and had a nice rattle. Just remember the muffler hanger is different as well. I
