Is there a difference between Mahle and Kolbenschmidt rod bearings?

Is one preferred over the other?

Not really, plus they may be made in the same factory.

Silverlines suck.

These days most are equally worthless.. We try to work from old stock, go to thesamba or ebay and see if you can find some NOS bearings.

We just pulled a Chinese cylinder out of a brand new set of Mahle P&Cs that were unopened today. Quality is gone across the board.
