A/N#16 (supply to pump) oil line all set + gravity is good on its way to the entry point (suction side of pump), which is (tooth belt) driven off of the crankshaft pulley mounted forward and down low.
Blue tape on starter motor fasteners are 'Reminders to torque 'em down ¡ The Red 'Cap-Plug near the bottom of oil tank is for the oil pre-heater (install coming up) , always nice to have warmed up engine oil prior to that 1st lap on time trial day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/marty914.jpg) |

I was excited to see some new posts since the last time I was here. That looks like a Dailey Engineering oil pump and pan, but I don't remember how that came to be. The only thing I can think of is that Dailey designed and manufactured the pump and pan for the race cars that ran the Cayenne V8 and you asked them to make you a setup? Or you asked them to design and manufacture a custom setup for the Cayenne V8? |

Daily Pump does manufacture that unit, and has some details that the LBP guys spec out; from their building experience with their Daytona engines. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/marty914.jpg) |

Some plumbing headed back and forth to the v8 from the oil tank; keeping the runs as close as possible on top of trasnsaxle, as there will more components to stack there. Clearance to cv's, axles, starter motor, headers, easy loops and no kinks. I reworked some Adel clamps with soft silicon buffers, to hold lines in place preventing abrasion.

Hopefully the hose routing in that last pic is just temporary. Looks like it could suffer some abrasion, at least from the angle of this pic!
