I need the O ring for the side shifter assembly. I replaced the shift seal and discovered the PO used a clear sealer for lack of the O ring. In addittion I bought the main shaft seal from Pelican only to find out it appears too small. It looks to be about 1/4" too small and I don't want to remove the old one until I am sure this is correct.

Pelican lists it as "914 all".

Andy, I found this on Pelican:

The original seal has an additional outter flap which only makes it appear to be larger, once removed you'll see it to be the same size as the new replacement seal.

Any idea where I can get the O ring for the shift shaft housing - tranny seal?

The factory O-ring is 40mm by 1.5mm. I just found an O-ring at the hardware store that was 1 5/8 X 1/8 that fit really well. I also used a little Hylomar with it.
