Bumping an old thread from last year, because this same swap meet is advertised on Craigslist this year again. This Sunday, April 26th.
Link: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/4406593487.html Did anyone go last year? Was it a big swap/show with great turnout, and are you planning to go again this year? I am contemplating driving my 914 out there, but it's on the same day as the Madera Spring Fling car show. I don't want to miss the show and drive 2 hours from home if it is a weak little swap meet. But I'd be glad to miss the VW show if there are a couple of dozen Porsches and a bunch of parts for sale. Any info would be much appreciated!! Thanks |

Thanks I was at last year's swap meet ... it's only a couple of miles from my house. It was not a big swap meet, very casual. There were about a dozen or so 914s. Several guys were selling a bunch of junk but it was no where near as large as the Parts Heaven swap meet, for example. I'm going to be there again this year and would enjoy meeting you, but if you have another gig that conflicts, I'd say go do the other thing. Here is a thread about last year's swap meet: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=208959 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-12234-1367190169.jpg) |
