I make it a practice to replace every one that looks even remotely worn, and every one during a clutch job, no matter what the mileage. Yours is nasty! Use a small screw driver and a hammer to shatter the old one and take it out in pieces.

Most have to replace the pivot bolt on the trans because they let this bushing collapse and grind on it along with the bushing pieces.

After you install the fork back into the trans make sure it moves back and forth freely without any binding. I've had some that were a little to tight. Ray
