So I'm thinking my problem may be my fuel pump. Is there a way to test it?

If you have power to it, you should hear it run when the switch is turned over. If it is out of the car, run power from the battery and see if you hear it.

Bucket, hoses, gauge, regulator, gas, power...

Hook it all together on a bench.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) also, when you get it off, try spraying brake cleaner into the pump, you may have debris from the gas tank that is clogging it up.
