If it rains are we still going? Ortega might be scary with no wipers and falkens... haha.
I think its safe to say if theres any rain I'll stay at home curled up in bed with my hot chocolate. |

Haha, MattR and I went on a drive in his 912 a week ago in the rain. The lack of wipers was real fun when he was wiping the water off the windshield with his hand while driving!

I can't go, but if someone lives up near me in Valencia I will give the group free issues, and some other goodies. All I ask for are some photos and a write up on the event for the next issue of 9 Magazine.

They started a thread on the pp forum and I asked if they wanted to join us (flame away). |

Matt: I'am sure that you won't mind being embarssed by Rustic Red, but now your asking me to do it to the real whine and cheese crowd. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I like it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Invite them, and I'll be in the bug even if my 914 is running. I can see it now, every time we come out of the twistys on to a short chute, me carring 15 more mph on him and trying to pass a GT2. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

They said they only drive with real porsches, so no 914s (or 912s) allowed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) just kidding. They said the usually meet earlier (like 6:30-7) and they go east on ortega. Aaron is on them like admin on politics, so maybe they'll meet us in Corona or Elsinore? We still have a few days before this is ironed out. I think Carerror would be hilarious to show off to the true wine and cheesers. Maybe I'll find a 911 badge to put in place of the 912 so I can fit in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif) |

So my 911 is leaking fuel onto the #3 cylinder so I can't bring the wine and cheese car. $500 is too much for a fuel line. I like driving the canyon in my 914 better anyway. I feel safer in the corners. I may drive past my turn around point this time.
Aaron, see you there. Thanks Mark |
