Thanks for bumping this thread Brant. Come on people that fly coast to coast for 914-related events. Come out to Moab in September. Let's make this thing happen! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

Is there still enough interest to make this event happen. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif)
The dates we were working with are Sept 23, 24, 25.
Most of the planning work has been done.
Help is still needed to wrap up the details.

Please post here if you would like to help with the Red Rock Classic.
I also need to get a better count of who thinks they might attend.

I have too many irons in the fire to help, but I've already scheduled vacation for the event. I'm in!

Linda (./L) and I are going to try to make it.
And in a 914 too! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving-girl.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving-girl.gif)
So everyone get ready to party! Were definatly gonna need a beer after a 12 hour drive! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/drunk.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smoke.gif)

Where is everyone staying for a hotel? Or is this going to be a big camp out?

Its great camping in one of the many canyons. The rocks put off heat in the cool night air. Kinda trippy. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif)

I'm happy to see this has legs.

This is "must see" scenery gang. I will personally guarantee (whatever the hell that means) that the shock and awe quotient will leave you breathless. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Moab is magical.

I'm planning on it but it may be in a taildragger. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

You are welcome to camp if you want, but there will be a very nice host hotel. We are working out the details (and a group discount rate) with the Aarchway Inn in Moab. Look for the offical Red Rock Classic thread in the next day or two.

This is just a little too far for me right now. (16 hrs. 1010 miles). (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

I would like to try for the WCC next year, but I need to get my car on the road and sorted out before I make a really long trip like that.
