I saw this at Original Customs. It is in even cleaner looking than the pictures show... I said OMG! Mark kept this secret for a long time... Nice work! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Are the roller rockers in there the same idea/concept/part as the roller cam + lifters?
I was watching TIV guru guy develop and test that w great interest but they seem to be restricted to his custom TIV builds only.

McMark is forcefully inducing 914world to stop blowing hot air, cooling us back to reality and boosting new inspirations w his work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

PLEASE drive this turbo project for a while before trying to blow it up! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The part that is in contact with the top of the valve is a roller. It still uses conventional tappets. The roller cam idea/concept is totally different and does not use conventional tappets.

I hope to make this motor last as long as possible!!

The cylinder walls are probably (at least) twice as thick as a normal Nickie cylinder. More sealing surface.

It's a custom one-off piece I made. Normally you don't run a stock oil cooler with the dtm.

So these are the newest Pauter rockers with oiling reliefs?
Were they necessary to achieve a desired geometry or just a cool bonus?

No. They don't have the oiling passages. Basically just a cool bonus and it sure is too bad all the cool looking stuff gets covered up!!

Aren't those the rockers that Raby kept breaking after a couple of thousand miles?

I'd hate to see that motor go boom.

What a coincidence. I just took it for a spin around the block. I have not had time to work on it much, obviously. A little update since the last post. I added a PMS oil cooler up front. Removed the stock cooler as I think that was the source of my oiling troubles. Now it is in dire need of a dyno tune. I'm thinking of going to MS... jury still out.

Dyno tune and get out to drive with your local teeners.

Everyone wants to see her run and make those 6 conversions look slow.
