It's an oddity...it's not a 914, it's not a 911....due to the way it was built, it would be hard to place it in some racing orgs....

it is trick and different and I bet a blast to drive....I couldn't afford to replace those tires (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

But does seem a bit odd, can't imagine he has less than $200K in build costs.

Damn you for posting this! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Think I can pull it off without the divorce, but will cost me a hell of a lot more than $55K (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Why do they call it a 996 ? Nothing on the car remotely is close to 996 ?

It isnt legal in SCCA for anything but SP class (which is a non points class basically)

Cool car.

You can race that car in PCA GTP class, I was just at the roebling road club race and a fabcar 911 was running, it did very well, third overall I think.

Not unless it has a log book dating back to 1996.

You can spank ricers with just about anything that has more torque then an impact wrench. They just put it in drive, hit the gas, and wait for turbo. If you get them off the line, then back off and act like you've already won. Then if they bitch, challenge them to the twisties in your 914!
