QUOTE(76-914 @ Apr 18 2017, 01:14 PM) *

HAHA! Well not much to report. I haven't had much time lately. I am hoping to make some progress this weekend. I have everything to build the exhaust system. The current plan is to come out of the exhaust port with 2.5" tube then taper down to 2". I picked up two dynomax super turbo mufflers and plan to use one for each bank of cylinders. http://www.dynomax.com/mufflers/super-turb...ntered-573.html With the reduction in tube size and two mufflers I hope it is fairly quiet. I will post pictures when it is done.

I completed the passenger side exhaust (the easy side). I am not what you would call a "great" welder but I think it will work. I hope to complete the drivers side this weekend.

With < 3ft of space to quieten the exhaust, don't expect any miracles. That being said; mine is quite as a mouse from 1800 to 2300rpm. Can't wait to hear your system. One of us will come up with the perfect system! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

It's Alive! Ross and I fired up the EZ30D in my car for the first time tonight. It lit right off. I would have to say the increase in power is amazing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Kent, I am pleased to report that the dual dynomax mufflers make for a pretty quiet exhaust note. Ross took some video so I will ask him to post it.

That sounds awesome, well done.
Did you leave room for a turbo?

Cheers

Ross is still working on your 3.6L. It is going to be a killer setup when he is done. He is working on adapting ITB's to run on it. I believe it will be installed in his flaired sliver car when it is completed.

Nice work guys. I remember that feeling when I stepped on it the first time with the EG33. You'll get used to it in a couple of months and then want more! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
