Rich, the downdraft is a Dacor which is 3 speed and freaking loud. Never again.

Jereon, I thought you and Christy were lookin for a new place? Have you found anything yet? I offered to help on your 914project last time I was in Holland....We might stay at Port Zeeland again soon so if you want some help.....

Carambola, yes I did mention the plugmold but the client didn't want to have to look under the upper cabinets to find the outlet strip. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Geoff (this allcost over 200k so I can now afford Nikkies for Xmas!) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Over $200,000? Heck of a Christmas present, eh. It'll probably get a good workout in the next two weeks. Beautiful work, Geoff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

For an island hood Abbaca is the way to go. Really expensive, but a cool custom stainless.
You could also get the workings of a "Vent a hood" or other brands and have a sheetmetal guy build the chase then dress it any way you want, wood, tile, etc. Saves a lot of money and you would have a custom hood.
