Car has been driving me crazy really running like crap.

Jumped into it tonight Checked points and dwell timing all good

changed coil No change
changed plug wires Huh? that's better.

Adjusted carbs can't seem to keep mixture jets where I leave them. Any solutions? new springs and all that done.

So I decide to make up a new spare set of plug wires. I tested the old ones and found an open in one of the BERU connectors. Dead open!!! the other 3 all had about 950 ohms Using solid core wires

Anyone ever find an open in a connector before?

Anyway made up new wires with firebraid from DAPO's box of stuff. I'll put them on in the morning.

I've got a bunch of NOS Bosch spark plug connectors. Both the long and short ones.

Yep, I've seen it many a time. Both Bosch and Beru

BTW solid core wires can mess up the FI brain, EMP problems.

Ya good thing I run 44 IDF's with points.
Fire braid wires actually made it run better than spare good set of wires. also solid core.

Going to go scuff my new Kumho's tomorrow. So I should be getting some wide open throttle work in.
