I sure thought I saw the answer somewhere here, but I can't seem to run it down now. Will someone please chime in with the degrees of camber per mm of rear alignment shim?
I did see a post that mentioned with NO SHIMS you should get -2 degrees, is that the starting point? Thanks |

Google Trigonometry. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/www.mathsisfun.com-419-1382473844.1.gif) Hypotenuse = Length of the pivot shaft in the trailing arm. = 313mm Opposite = Shim thickness = 2mm Angle = inverse sin of opposite / hypotenuse = 0.366 per 2mm shim. At least according to my assumptions and math. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |
