Picked up the replacement door from the sandblaster. Its got a little rot.

Put them on for a photo and so I can move the car out. I need to set up the paint booth and shoot the door and bumpers..

Moved the car to another shop and started setting up the paint booth for the last bit of painting.

You know how when you mess up painting and you think "I can fix that" and part of your brain is saying "just leave it, let it dry and fix it later"? Well I didn't listen and turned a small run into a giant mess.
 Finally I just quit messing with it. The next day I sanded it down and re shot the color.  And then did the clear. I looks good from afar but is far from good. It is however good enough for now.  |
