Finding flares that flows with the 914 lines is hard. Personally I think the GT flares look a bit too much like fenders of a US dually pick up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But i have to say, the stock GT flares have been growing on me over the years. Interestingly enough at about the same rate that the 916 look has grown uglier. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

I do like the flares jim kelly posted. They are awesome but IMO slightly over the top for street use, but perfect for track use (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Attached image(s) |

Not that they're much of a flare, but I get 225's on 8" rim under them.
Flares by BFH (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) and a big ol' pry bar... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) -Josh |

225/45-15 Hoosiers on 15x8 wheels with 4-7/8" backspacing.
Only very minor rubbing at full lock or full suspension load. I have, in my imaginary plan to finish the car, an idea to go to 15x10's and run the big ol' 275's. But the reality of the project says "HA!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) , and I think that I'll be on 225's for a while once (if) I get it running again. -Josh Awesome! And it does, but it shouldn't. A body style should look good and balanced whatever the color. I want to do 225s and 245s, maybe even 265s and have it look like it was designed that way. |

My neighbor gave me a cd with a bunch of vintage Porsches running Laguna back in the 70s. I like the look of these flares. Only time I have ever seen this type. Nice! That was Bill Cuddy's car. It was an ex-Ginther car. How do I know? I worked on it for several years. It was sold when he acquired an ex Roy Woods McLaren 8E and then highly modified but I don't have a picture of it in it's present state. |

I've been looking at the flares on the early 70's Camaros from Motion Performance too. They're kind of a bubble flare, almost what you see on the back of the Singer 911 creations and that may look good with the squared off fender lines we have.
