Just curious what people are up to tonight.

I'll be with my gf's russian family and friends (in fact, i'll be only one of two non-russian speaking people there. should be intersting). champange at midnight, typical thing.

whatever you do, stay safe!

a friend of mine from germany is throwing a party in the city!
his place overlooks the bay, so we should have a great view of the fireworks.

Last year our New Years Party lasted until 4:00 am. This year it starts at 3:30 and the first round of Poker starts at 4:00, it's $20.00 to get in, we got 18 of our friends from church scheduled to play, plus their kids will be here too playing on the Sony Playstation Dance Pad. Louser Lounge out back if it doesn't rain with cigars and Martini's. It will be fun, our third year in a row organizing it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

we americans know the first part. here you go alison.

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pu'd the gowans fine,
But we've wander'd mony a weary fit
Sin auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl't in the burn
Frae morning sun til dine,
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne.

And there's a hand, my trusty fiere,
And gie's a hand o'thine,
And we'll tak a right guid williewaught
For auld lang syne!

And surely ye'll be your pint' stowp,
And surely i'll be mine,
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne!

happy new year!!

The ole lady and I have sat home every New Years for the last 10 years and watched the tube. We don't drink so going out is moot. Maybe go out to eat early before the drunks hit the road. Then early to bed....as usual ZZZZZZZzzzzzz Exciting huh? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

I'll be hanging out in my new 3 stall "monster garage"!!!
I just started up my in floor heating last week and now I
can get serious with my 914 over the winter. Next door
neighbors are having a party- so I can go over for a while and then back to my palace!!

Have a safe and happy new year!
