Last year our New Years Party lasted until 4:00 am. This year it starts at 3:30 and the first round of Poker starts at 4:00, it's $20.00 to get in, we got 18 of our friends from church scheduled to play, plus their kids will be here too playing on the Sony Playstation Dance Pad. Louser Lounge out back if it doesn't rain with cigars and Martini's. It will be fun, our third year in a row organizing it.
O yah, Happy New Year

Tonight is the one night of the year I really hate my job. I am a bartender at one of the major casinos on the strip. With NYE falling on a weekend this year it will be even worse than usual.
Needless to say I will be very busy and very popular. The bar will be 5 deep all night long and everyone wants to be served first. I think every person from California under 25 is in town and they all want to get as drunk as possible.
My only consolation is the money is good for the night. (But still not enough to make it worth the aggravation) I take pleasue in knowing that tomorrow morning I will be sleeping soundly while my obnoxious customers are

Getting ready to watch the ball drop, (even though it already did), if I am home I watch it every year. Then the kids and I go outside and bang pots and pans and let off those popper thingy's!
Happy 2005 all of you 914 club buddies!

First,
Happy New Year's to all on the board! It's been an event-full year for us, and I hope it has been for y'all as well. And even more so in the new year!
NY's was pretty quiet here -- got the girls to bed and such (no complaining there
) and then got a dip in the pool -- (just got out. it's 50 degrees F here, and the pool was 90 -- what's not to like!!)
