Anyone do a cost comparison between the two if one goes all out with the MSD dizzy and components needed along with it?
The DIS (distributorless Ignition System) such as the Electromotive are pricy as well. I was shocked (no pun) to see that Holley also sells an Universal DIS for a price close to 1K...and you still need a few more hundred dollars of parts and fabrication!!!!! What do you need the retard for? You don't have to pass smog, so you shouldn't really need the retard (unless your turbo requires it - I know next to nothing about turbos).
