Mark,
Will this work on a rH drive ?

The rod, hanger, and joint would be the same. The base that holds the armature may need some modification. I could probably make one custom as I made the bases. You need a right?
-Mark

I am asking in behalf of a friend; will let you know later. As it is, I have an order submitted for a regular LH drive car ( mine)
BTW: nice work making these. A lot of attempts went down before you came through.

Yes, it took awhile. There was a lot of cutting, forming, punching, turning, threading, plating and assembly. But finally got them done!

Nice pics,; would like to see a little more. Perhaps someone can explain what they did and the problems that arise. I still have to figure out how to cut that slot in the base of my Rennshifter.....

Just ordered mine...I wish installing this stuff was as easy as ordering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Maybe one of these years I'll get around to installing...

It should be great, like a motorcycle choke...wish the 356 had one.

Here's the deal-
I had been buying these from a member in Germany. He has decided to stop making them. I've decided to tool up to make these as he has opted to discontinue.
I have a carbed car and these are basically a choke / and way of setting your throttle to a base RPM as desired on the fly.
Since these have a value I've decided to pick them up. It's a pretty simple set up, the only real cost is the stamping for the lever section. I have a few ideas that may reduce the cost to the $99 area, but I have to see how they work.

I will have these in about 6 weeks, so who's interested? Cost is also a function of how many people want them. If I can do 30 units I will guarantee $99 price point.
So who's in?

I would like one of these if still available. Please advise. Thank you

I have a Weltmeister short shift kit that has a plate under the base of the shifter. It raises the shifter about 1/2". I wondered if I will have clearance issues with the rod to the pedal?

Doesn't the throttle lever assembly attach directly to the body and the plate goes over it. Looks like you'll need a slot cut into the plate for the lever to move ?

Do you still have a stock shifter in your possession, Jim?

Measure off of the bolt holes in the OEM to see where you'll need to slice the Renn ...

Still available, and I plan to continue to stock them, but end of the month the GB us over, I'm actually selling a little below cost, so the new price will be $160 after. Get them while you can save a few bucks.

I'm a little late, but if they are still available I would like 2.

I have 2 914 race cars that need throttle warm-up help.

Is the mod on the parts I bought or the console? I was thinking that someone mounted it on the side of the console somehow or?

You can easily modify the board on the bottom, it just takes a little time and patience.
