I found this mechanic's advertisement on Craigslist but I haven't hired him yet. I think he is in the 408 area code...last paragraph is an email response.

I've brought many back from the dead! These are awesome little cars, and with the right guy working on it..you'll be a very satisified customer. I install oil coolers and other enhancements to make your run to its optimum.. I am not a club member. I have done pit mechanic work for the PCA in the past. My rates are very reasonable, I charge $50.00/Hr. I have been working on 914/6's for over twenty years. I am a retired AMA racer and have owned and modified 8 of these cars. Let me know if anyone knows this guy for a reference. |
